Milly climbs up a ladder, slowly, inch by inch, terribly frightened but still making it to the top.
Q - Who is braver, Molly or Milly? Why?

3) Do you have to be scared to be brave?
4) Can you be brave if you are not scared?

Three cases to consider:

Candy jumps off the highest diving board at the swimming pool, lands with a splash, and swims to the ladder.
Mandy jumps off the top of her house, lands with a splat, breaks both legs and both arms and gets taken to hospital.
Q - Is Sandy brave? Why or why not? Is Candy? Why? Is Mandy? If Mandy isn’t brave, what is she?

Jan risks being eaten by a ravenous lion in order to save a baby.
